TREE FELLING AND PRUNNING
Trees small or large, whether it's a straightforward felling or a tree that needs to be felled by section or just pruned.
Of late and following bad press relating to the Leylandi Conifer tree a lot of our work involves the removal of these trees and hedges. Poplar trees are another tree we find people having problems with.
I have twenty years experience in tree climbing and dismantling trees. My experience tells me to respect the work being done, there is 'no easy tree'.
We have our own equipment, such as a 60ft Simon hoist that when access permits, makes access into the tree quicker, safer and therefore cheaper.
Another 'must have' piece of equipment when dealing with difficult trees is our Unimog, which is fitted with a 10 ton winch and timber grab crane along with its 4x4 capability. And of course we have our general vehicle Ford Transit which tows one of our two chippers.
For work on the roadside we have our own road signs and traffic control, as the job requires. |

STUMP GRINDING SERVICE
Got a problem with a tree stump? We have the solution.
Stump grinding causes less disturbance to the surrounding soil, drains, foundations, paths etc., than actually digging and winching the stump out in its entirety. Our machines can grind the stump down below ground level to as much as 12 inches and removing only what is necessary to gain the desired objective. This operation leaves only a mulch which is wood chipped from the stump. This can be left or removed as requested. |
